RELOVED FURNITURE
…just a small town girl, on a mission to rescue and re-home neglected and unwanted furniture! When I’m not working or chasing after the kids or the cows, you’ll usually find me in my little workshop with a cup of coffee in one hand and a paint brush in the other.

Before chalk paint was ever heard of, there was Antiquing. About 8 years ago I painted my kitchen cabinets an off white and thought I might give them an aged look by rubbing on a walnut stain. After applying stain sparingly with a brush I then used a soft cloth to remove any lexcess, leaving enough to appear as aged and worn wood. The Miniwax stain acts as a sealer as well. My kitchen cabinets still look great.
I have used the same technique over chalk painted surfaces with success.
